Lifelong Relationships 

Once you’ve become a client of The Presti Group, it’s likely you’re in it for life! Our staff prides itself in our loyal clients, and many have used our services over and over again, while also referring us to friends and family members. Although we pride ourselves in our professionalism, inevitably friendships arise and we treasure these. We’re honored to have received invitations over the years to our clients’ weddings, baby showers, christenings, and bar mitzvahs. (That’s not a hint for an invitation to your next family event!)


Positive Attitude, Rational Decision Making

Anyone who has bought or sold a house can attest that it can be a very stressful process. We’ve been in the real estate business long enough to take the long view: things usually happen for a reason and most people end up delighted with their property purchase or sale. But inevitably, there are disappointments along the way. Our job is to keep your stress levels down, the process moving forward, and your spirits up. Emotions can run high, but we try to make the process as data-driven and rational as possible and always keep our clients’ interests top of mind.


Lifelong Learning

The real estate business is constantly evolving and it’s critical to keep abreast of all the changes. Marie Presti sets the bar high for lifelong learning and ensures that new hires share this value. Every year, Marie creates a goal for herself in order to keep getting better at what she does. Among her special designations: Certified Broker Manager (GBM), graduate of the REALTOR Institute (GRI), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), National Association of Realtors’ "green” agent, and Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE). With an undergraduate degree in math and computer science, she has always been an early adopter of technology tools that improve the buying and selling experience for her clients.


Giving Back to our Community

We believe in the "Servant Leadership” model. It turns traditional notions of leadership on their head: leaders must serve their employees and communities, not the other way around. We have built a thriving business and believe that comes with the obligation to give back to the community. One example is the Newton/Stoneham Front Steps Project, a photography fundraiser we launched in the spring of 2020 which raised $10,000 for nonprofits in both communities. We’re also perennial supporters of Community Servings and are very involved in the Newton Rotary Club and the Newton Senior Center.

Raising the Realtor Bar

Marie is a leader in the local, state, and national realtor community and always strives to improve the profession. She is a past president of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR). She currently serves as the treasurer of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and is on the board of directors of the MLS Property Information Network. Previously, she chaired the Massachusetts Association of Realtors’ mediation committee (she still serves as a mediator for GBAR) and served on the National Association of Realtors’ research committee, among others. Marie has received many honors over the years, including the Greater Boston Realtor of the Year award and a Woman of FIRE award From Banker & Tradesman.


Exceeding Expectations Through Hard Work

 "We go the extra block®" isn’t just a tagline, it’s what animates everything we do. Real estate is not a 9-5/ Monday-Friday profession: we work hard six and sometimes seven days a week, and always around our clients’ schedules. We also accommodate their preferred communication mode: in-person, video chat, text, phone, or email. We love being busy, but will turn away work when our roster is full, so we never sacrifice service quality.
